"Welcome children,” said the Yogi in a kind voice. “You must have traveled very far. Come. Sit with Chakra and me. Tell us, little yoga warriors, all that you have learned."
The elephant looked deep into their eyes and said, "Only those whose hearts are pure, with strong bodies and flexible minds may cross over.”
Sasha and Mishoo, Little Yoga Warriors is the first in our series of eight Children’s yoga books. Set amidst the many colorful and diverse landscapes of India, Sasha and her little brother, Mishoo are searching for their little kitty, Chakra, who had followed a passing Yogi into the wild. The two are confronted by either nature’s obstacles or animals all along the way. And the only way they can continue on is by holding a certain yoga pose, one that will help them overcome the obstacle. They and the reader will have to stop and hold the pose for ten big breaths before they can turn the page. With vibrant and traditional Indian hand drawn designs lighting up each page, the story will be a treat for eyes as well as the body. Completely interactive, parent and child can work together through the series of yoga poses until they have found their Chakra.
